AMP concluded Independence Day National Campaign across the country with focus on various Careers available In Nation Building

Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) concluded its week-long Nation-wide Campaign from Monday, 13th August to 20th August 2018 throughout the country. The National campaign titled, ‘Hum Banenge Hind Ki Nayi Pehchan’ translated as ‘Careers In Nation Building’ was organized all over India, which aimed to create awareness and inspire students from Higher Secondary School section towards various Career opportunities available in Nation Building. These sessions enlightened the students on the Rights and Responsibilities we have as Indian citizens towards our Nation. It also instilled a sense of pride and patriotism, which we carry as Indians in our hearts. We covered over 10 cities all over the country.

These lecture series were conducted in over 31 Schools across different cities in India. People involved in taking these lectures were  AMPs own team, consisting of  volunteers and speakers spread across the country, as wide as from Mumbai to Vaniyambadi and across the North and South of the Country benefiting more than 2,500 Students in 10 cities.

There were six lectures arranged on 15th August, Hubli, Sawaimadhopur, Vaniyambadi and 2 in Mumbai to mark the significance of Independence Day.

A total of 11 lectures were conducted in different schools across various locations in Mumbai. We also had lectures in Rajasthan, Bangalore, Hubli, Hyderabad, Vaniyambadi, Pune, Indore, Sawaimadhopur & in Lucknow respectively.

The Speakers taught students the true meaning and significance of Independence Day. Muslims freedom fighters like Dr. Zakir Hussain, Muzaffar Ahmad, Bakht Khan, Mohammad Ali Jouhar, & Ashfaqullah Khan etc. how they played an instrumental role in the Indian freedom struggle. APJ Kalam vision 2020, how can we transform India into a developed nation by using Technologies, Education, Information & Communication Technology etc.

These Professionals guided young minds by focusing on various career options available in Indian Army, Indian Administration, Law and Judiciary. Also focuses on Career in Social Media, Journalism, and Information Technology (IT) etc.

Students showed great interest towards the lecture and were very involved listening to each word spoken by the speakers eagerly. The school authorities and staff were very pleased with this AMP initiative and requested to hold many such activities in the near future. This shows the varied presence of AMP across the country and the zeal and enthusiasm with which our speakers conduct the lectures.

 Mr. Aamir Edresy, President, AMP said, “Probably AMP is the only organization which can work at this level in such a well-coordinated manner and the beauty lies in the spirit of team work and ideals of volunteerism strongly imbibed into each of our members across the country, which allows us to give shape to such events and activities. We may be scattered by geography but united by our ideals and spirit.”

This campaign marks diversity in approach wherein people from different occupations come together to work towards the benefit of our future generations.
